Description
Patch cord is also known as optical fiber connector, refers to the cable on both ends mount connector plug, used to implement the light patch activity connection. At one end with a plug is called the tail fiber. Fiber optic jumper (Optical Fiber Patch Cord/Cable) and coaxial Cable are similar, but no mesh shielding layer. The center is the spread of light glass core. In multi mode optical fiber core diameter is 50 microns to 65 microns, roughly the comparative with the thickness of a human hair. Outside is a thin layer of a plastic coat again, to protect the sleeve.
